The Old MillNeil and Susan Evans have operated The Old Mill Guest Accommodation since converting Wern Mill stables in 1988.

Originally describing ourselves as a Private Hotel, we now now feel that 'Guest Accommodation' gives a more accurate description of how we like to run things.

The Old Mill Your car is accommodated close to your bedroom on our spacious private car park. The garden setting makes for an attractive first sight of The Old Mill.

On arrival you will be shown to your room by Neil or Susan, not just handed a key. We explain the various aspects of the room and point out the comprehensive 'welcome pack of information' at your bedside.

The Old Mill is conveniently situated to visit the nearby Roman City of Chester, Snowdonia and more locally, excellent walking in the Clwydian Hills 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. We keep an excellent supply of walking guides and maps.

Susan and Neil enjoy combining business with pleasure in running The Old Mill. Susan likes to spend some of her spare time line dancing and Neil just can't get the narrow gauge steam railways of North Wales out of his mind.

Evening meals are available in The Old Mill at weekends only with 24 hours notice please. Evening and midday meals are available within the adjacent Cherry Pie Inn and Restaurant.
